8th English

Designed in a language arts format, grammar, composition, and literature are integrated into one course. Students continue the study of advanced grammar that forms the basis of literacy, primarily through composition, with writing being considered a process calling for repeated, multi-layered revisions. Course readings that feature the study of European authors improve comprehension skills while strengthening the writing and intellectual skills necessary for success in high school.
