Psychology

FPA’s psychology course is designed to introduce students to the many subfields within psychology. This course will cover a variety of theories, research findings, and applications. Topics include biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, learning, motivation and emotion, cognition, memory, personality, sleep and dreams, psychological assessment, and abnormal psychology.

Dr. Amber Sanatore

Dr. Sanatore earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kent State University, her master’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University, and her PhD from the University of the Cumberlands.

In addition to teaching for FPA, Dr. Sanatore teaches university courses in psychology and research methods.

Dr. Sanatore lives in Ohio with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, reading, and spending time with her family.
