Taught from the perspective that our ability to understand and manipulate the laws of physics provides insight into the working of God’s natural law, this course provides a strong background in measurement/units, one- and two-dimensional motion, Newton’s laws and their application, gravity, work, and energy, circular motion, momentum, periodic motion, waves, optics, electrostatics, electrodynamics, electrical circuits, and magnetism.

Mrs. Selby graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in botany with minors in chemistry and mathematics. She has been teaching high school Chemistry, Physics, and Biology online for 15 years. Lelah grew up in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon and now splits her time between there and Knoxville, TN, where her youngest daughter and her family live. In her spare time, Mrs. Selby enjoys hiking with her family, playing outside with her granddaughter, and gardening.
