6th English
Utilizing the language arts format, grammar, composition, spelling, handwriting, and literature are integrated into one cohesive course. Introducing students to the usage and mechanics of grammar and sentence structure becomes purposeful when applied to writing assignments for literature. Handwriting exercises focus on specific Bible verses that become locked into memory for a lifetime. Skillfully woven throughout the study of mechanics is a diverse selection of literature exposing young readers to increasingly sophisticated books.
