Recognizing that finances do play a role in your family's education, and that tuition is an investment in the lives of your children, FreedomProject Academy offers a needs-based Tuition Assistance program (dispersing approximately $30,000 annually) to assist families who demonstrate a financial need.
FreedomProject Academy is partnered with FACTS, an organization that provides detailed assessments about the financial need of each applicant family. These reports help our Tuition Assistance Committee determine which students are eligible for tuition assistance and to what degree. An applicant must be enrolled or have submitted Placement Tests to be considered for tuition assistance.
Cost to submit an application is $30 per family.
Possible financial disbursements are determined ONLY when ALL required material has been submitted. Once a decision has been reached, an email and letter will be sent either awarding or denying assistance. Those families awarded tuition assistance must confirm acceptance of the funds within two weeks. Financial assistance amounts will vary by need and are limited to no more than 50% of a student’s tuition. FPA’s Enrollment Fee, the optional Premium Partnership Fee, and the Tutoring Fee are not included in the tuition assistance or reimbursed. Recipient can NOT receive tuition discounts in addition to financial assistance.
Tuition Assistance will be awarded May through July.
If opting to pay for tuition in full, payment must be received no later than Friday, August 4, 2017. Payment can be made online through your SMART TUITION account. Enrolling in a class at FreedomProject Academy guarantees a student a spot in that class, but not a specific section of that class, until payment is made.
Once a student’s tuition is paid in full, or a Payment Plan contract has been submitted, the student will be locked into their preferred course sections. Students may lose seats in preferred sections if payment is received from other students first. Parent/Guardians will be contacted before a student is moved from one section to another and given the opportunity to keep the spot if payment is made immediately. This option can be selected on the CLASS REQUEST FORM.
FULL PAYMENT REFUND
Deadline: No later than 72 hours after tuition is paid.
Families have 72 hours after tuition is paid to claim a full refund. Students choosing to withdraw after 72 hours and before 4 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, will receive a 50% reimbursement of the total tuition due. As of 4 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, NO REFUNDS will be given to students withdrawn from classes for which FPA guaranteed them seats.
Deadline: Friday, August 4, 2017 Down Payment: $450 ($100 Fee Included)
For the convenience of families, FreedomProject Academy offers an 8-month Payment Plan for students enrolled in a minimum of three classes. To take advantage of the Payment Plan, a SMART TUITION account must be created and PAYMENT PLAN CONTRACT must be submitted. A down payment of $450, including a $100 finance fee, will be deducted once the PAYMENT PLAN CONTRACT is submitted. The down payment and finance fee are both non-refundable, even if tuition is paid in full early. No subsequent monthly fee will be assessed. Eight equal payments will be deducted on the first of each month (September-April).
PAYMENT PLAN REFUND POLICY
Deadline: No later than 72 hours after tuition is paid.
Families have 72 hours (three business days) after a PAYMENT PLAN CONTRACT is submitted to claim a full refund. Following that time the Payment Plan can be cancelled up until Friday, August 25, 2017, with only the $450 down payment being non-refundable. Families are responsible for all committed monthly payments after Friday, August 25, 2017, regardless of enrollment status.
FreedomProject Academy is excited to announce a brand new partnership with Smart Tuition to help manage tuition and fees. Smart Tuition provides text and email reminders about payments, 24/7 customer support for all billing items, and supports tax documentation for all states that allow private school deductions. A Smart Tuition account must be created to attend FreedomProject Academy. Setup instructions will be sent following student application submission.
Cost: $150/Student (Required) Paid with Application
FreedomProject Academy requires a non-refundable enrollment fee of $150 for each student enrolled. Although remittance of the enrollment fee is not a down payment of tuition, it does guarantee your student(s) a seat in available classes (but not specific sections).

For a $150 fee per family, FreedomProject Academy will provide a Premium Partnership coordinator who will arrange and oversee the transition to our school, facilitating such things as Placement Testing, Book Buying, Required Technology, Testing Technology, Expectations, First Week Check-in, and much more. The coordinator will walk you through every aspect of enrolling and preparing for the first day of classes, and will be available to you for special assistance throughout the school year. As an added bonus, the Premium Partnership package also includes our Tutoring Package for every enrolled student in the family, at no extra cost.

FreedomProject Academy offers an optional Tutoring Package for students in grades 6 – 12. Tutoring sessions meet every Friday throughout the school year. The cost of the package is $100 per student for a full year of English, math, and science tutoring. The Tutoring Package can be selected on the CLASS REQUEST FORM or added to a student’s account at any time from within the Parent Portal.
FPA goes to great lengths to ensure that textbooks are free from Common Core, factually accurate, contribute to a Classical education, and embody the values central to our program. FPA does not supply textbooks for students. FPA’s partnership with Rainbow Resource has made the process of ordering books simple and convenient for parents.
Students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will be renting first edition Saxon textbooks from FreedomProject Academy because the books are out of print. The yearly rental fee is $25. A $10 credit will be applied to your school account when the textbook is returned to FPA in good condition at the end of the 2017-2018 school year.

FreedomProject Academy families returning from the 2016-2017 academic year will receive a $50 Referral Credit toward tuition for the 2017-2018 or following year, if a NEW student acknowledges them on their enrollment form. A new sibling also qualifies. Tuition credit does not carry any cash value outside of FPA, and can only be credited toward a family account, not used as a refund. Referral credits cannot be applied toward the $150 Enrollment Fee. There is no limit as to how many $50 referral credits can be awarded per family.
