Our society is inundated with data: it is all around us everywhere you look. The news, businesses, and the government all use data to make critical decisions, but how do you know the data is reliable? Are the statistics produced being accurately represented? It has been said that “statistical thinking will one day be as necessary for efficient citizenship as the ability to read and write” and certainly we can see that coming to fruition.
