Classes I Teach:
8th English

Mr. Josh Dawson

Mr. Dawson earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Montclair State University and his Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting & Story Structure at Hollins University.

Now more than ever, it is vital for the next generation to find a deep appreciation and understanding of the masterpieces that have come before, and that’s exactly what Mr. Dawson aims to do. Some of Mr. Dawson’s goals for his class are to awaken a passion for reading in his students, make connections between the great literary classics of the past and what is happening in the world today, and teach students how to view and analyze literature through a Judeo-Christian lens.

When he isn’t teaching, Mr. Dawson is most likely reading, writing, or playing guitar. He is excited to share his love of reading great literature with the students of FPA!
