Mrs. Jackson received her BS in English Education from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. For ten years, she taught English in both private and public schools. For two years, she had the pleasure of teaching music and working with Arden Cahill at her private academy in New Orleans. It was her experience at Arden Cahill Academy, surrounded by excellent and supportive colleagues, that became transformational in her life as an educator. She has home educated her own three children and also teaches a weekly writing class at a homeschool cooperative in Springfield, Missouri.
She enjoys teaching piano, gardening, swimming, and numerous outdoor activities. She feels blessed to live on a century farm in Missouri where she can marvel at God’s goodness each day.
