Mrs. Camilla Rice

Camilla Rice was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she graduated from the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro with a degree in Psychology. She grew up studying English and volunteering as a translator for American volunteers on short term mission trips in Brazil. While in College, Mrs. Rice spent a year as a missionary in South America where she became fluent in Spanish. After graduating she moved to Dallas, where she taught elementary school to Spanish speaking children in the public-school system for six years.

Mrs. Rice is married to the lead pastor of Mesquite Church in Texas, and is in the process of homeschooling their two adorable little boys. Besides her love of cultures and foreign languages, she loves spending time with family and friends, coffee, singing, good conversation, classic Brazilian Vinyl records, and contemplating God’s beauty and glory in all that she does.
